Southern Shine Records was started by Anthony  Harrell. He was born in a small town in Louisiana  called Jonesboro. Started from a young boy listen to DJ Magic Mike , Eazy E, and Dr. Dre loving  there mixdowns . Always wanting to be a producer.  In 1996 found  a church in Jonesboro called Rivers of Joy Ministries were I begin mixing on my first  mixing board that was Yamaha for the choir.  That’s when it all started , started my studio in the bedroom in my house going from recording on tape players to working on analog/digital mixers. Then they start calling me “A-Flat” for my beats and mixing.  Then I soon meet  up with DJ Slym B. which is the co-producer of my company which is called Southern Shine Records which has been noticed by DJ Smallz a.k.a Mr. Southern Smoke that gave our first appearance on the 2008 Southern Smoke College Tour CD.   Hangin with a homeboy I soon met up with Larnardo Leonard a.k.a “Payso,” which is now my recording artist under my label.  I soon found out dat DJ Slym B and Payso knew each other very well and has recently collaborated on tracks. Payso is also a native to Jonesboro or should I say “DodgeCity.”  He grew up as a “kick door boy”, well a hard head.  So I took him up under my wings and got him up out da streets.  DJ Slym B was already takin action in dat so it worked out perfectly and here we are today, “Southern Shine Records” don’t bother askin who dat iz
