Being born and raised in Cleveland,OH up until the age of 17 TAzZ has always had an creative mind and artistic way of life that has amazed those who have been exposed to his street sadistic , business minded, free flowing approach in music. while growing up TAzZ became very interested in music at a young age listening to artists such as Prince, Rick James, New Edition and ,of course, Michael Jackson. Wanting to be a singer at first he heard BBD's "poison" on the radio and heard someone sound so confident smooth and direct that offered the imagination a picture that constantly drifted through the back of his mind throughout the whole song. After listening to that for a while he then began switching his whole style and direction and started listening to RUN DMC, LL Cool J, NAS, Jay-Z, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Master P. He would write lyrics almost religiously during his free time as he would get lost in the up-tempo hard hitting bass lines and raw lyrics on songs like "illmatic", "Momma said knock you out", "walk this way" and "rock box", and would write scenarios and situations all night long. After had practiced for a while he became very good at delivering rhymes with lines that would stick and give a mental picture to those who would listen to him freestyle as he would talk about things that were happening around him on his way home from the bus or in the lunch room with others. When he turned 17 TAzZ moved to North Bend,OR and met a group of kids that were doing music less than a week after he first arrived. They then would get together almost on the regular and write songs and make beats until "wee Hrs" of the night to only do the same the next day. After gathering their creative minds together they decided to make a CD and distribute it amongst their friends and others around the area that were interested in what they brought to the table. The group was so energetic and rugged but at the same time well-organized at the time so they decided to name the group " the Syndicate" which stuck like glue, it even got them a spot in the local newspaper advertising their release party/show for the upcoming self-titled album. Due to reconcilable differences the group narrowed down from 8 to 4 after a few years and those remaining decided to fully pursue their aspirations as artists, musicians, and producers. Later everyone eventually moved which left TAzZ all by himself to further establish himself as an artist, while this may slow down some artists this was most certainly not the case. He then began communicating with local DJ's at the bars in the area and at age 20 he was in all the local bars freestyling over instrumentals which would receive rave reviews from the beer guzzling, plaid-wearing , mill-working hillbilly crowd that could care less for hip hop it would seem. When he turned 23 TAzZ was living in west Los Angeles, CA working a full time job during the day and networking with local artists and promoting himself by night. Now he spends his time in a studio around venice beach ,CA perfecting his craft. Being influenced by numerous Artists in such a dimensional art TAzZ has developed a hard hitting Street swagger like today's T.I. or Lil Wayne that bares a potent lyrical content such as Kanye West or Ludacris. When asked what kind of crowd he intends to attract TAzZ replied " my music is for the strong, intelligent, work hard play hard, multi dimensional youth that enjoys music for what it is". The image he would like to hold is one that works hard and dedicated BUT also likes to have fun, one who has not only a sense of humor but a sense of direction as well and always abuses his potential to the furthest extent. Someone who learns from life and it's mistakes to where he can only grow not only as an artist but as a man. When asked about his attitude towards his work now TAzZ said " I do what I like to call abuse my potential. Some people abuse there privilages and it makes things worst but I feel since I have so much potential if I abuse THAT….I can only progress ya dig…..I CAN ALWAYS BE BETTER!"
